![]() ![]() No wonder shit has been sounding weird: Important: Attack and Release settings range from slowest (1) to fastest (7). Also just realized reading through the manual that the attack and release knobs are coded in the following strange way. Is the input taking the place of the threshold? Or is it more of a wet/dry knob? I assume output is essentially the "gain makeup" knob correct? If input is not substituting for the threshold parameter what is it used for, and what should I typically set it to? I have tried setting it to '0,' or the middle '24' because I figured I didn't want to alter the sound before coming into the compressor, but I've been noticing when I do that, it seems to instantly make the volume much louder, so I assume it's doing something even with a "0" input. Now the CLA-2A I get, despite it being pretty simple, and I thoroughly understand standard compressor settings (mostly using FabFilter's Pro-C for its excellent graphic display), but with the CLA-76, I'm not really sure what the input control is for. I recently purchased a small waves bundle (mainly for the CLA-2A emulation), but also received the CLA-76 with it. ![]()
